Summer Camp Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our summer camps run weekly between June 22 and August 14 and are planned carefully in advance to ensure appropriate staffing, materials, and program quality. For this reason, the following cancellation policy applies to all weekly camp registrations:
Cancellations made on or before March 28 (the midpoint between the opening of registration on January 1 and the start of camp on June 22) will receive a 75% refund of the camp fee. The remaining 25% is retained as a non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations made between March 29 and June 14 will receive a 50% refund of the camp fee.
Cancellations made between June 15 and June 21 (within one week of the start of camp) are not eligible for a cash refund. Instead, a 50% credit of the camp fee may be issued, at the school’s discretion, to be applied toward a future WIWS program.
No refunds or credits are available for cancellations made on or after June 22, or for missed days due to illness, travel, or other personal circumstances.
Additional terms:
Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and must be used within 12 months of issuance. Refunds and credits apply to the affected week(s) only. We appreciate your understanding, as this policy allows us to plan responsibly while continuing to offer high-quality summer programming.
Cancellation by the School
Whidbey Island Waldorf School reserves the right to cancel a camp or its part (the afternoon programming) in case of underenrollment. In this case 100% of tuition will be refunded to the family.
