Locating Self: Ancestral, Intersectional, and Liberatory Pathways to Wholeness

This training is eligible for 3 NBCC credit hours. This training that expands the Internal Family Systems (IFS) concept of Self through ancestral memory, intersectional identity, and liberatory practice — while honoring and building on the foundational IFS framework you already know. This training made its debut at the IFS Institute Annual Conference 2025 to a full room of participants. It is designed for licensed mental health professionals who already have foundational IFS exposure and want to deepen that work through a liberatory lens. Participants will explore how race, queerness, gender, spirituality, systemic oppression, and cultural inheritance shape access to Self-energy — in both clinicians and the clients they serve.
