Please complete this form to apply to the 2026 Chapman House Writing Residency for emerging writers of fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. The dates for this year's residency are Sunday, November 15 to Friday, November 20. Please note that we will only accept applications from emerging writers who have not yet published a chapbook or book and do not have one forthcoming. There is a $10 reading fee for each submission which enables us to give each submission the time it deserves. We will select four writers for the no-cost residency.
