Currently, Siskiyou Roots is the program available for students ages 11–13. We have received strong interest in this age group. If Siskiyou Roots reaches full enrollment, Pacifica plans to open a second class, Envision Pathfinders, to accommodate additional students. We encourage families to enroll early to secure their child's spot.
The enrollment period for Envision Pathfinders ends on August 3, 2026. If there is insufficient enrollment to offer two classes for students ages 11–13, Pacifica will issue a full refund of your $200 enrollment deposit. Families will be notified by August 7, 2026, whether the Envision Pathfinders class has received sufficient enrollment to move forward. If the class does not meet the minimum enrollment requirement, all deposits for Envision Pathfinders will be refunded in full. We are committed to providing educational opportunities for all students ages 8 and up and will do everything we can to serve every family interested in participating in our programs.
If both classes move forward, Pacifica staff will work directly with families to thoughtfully place each student in the class that is the best fit for their learning style, interests, and the overall class community.
ENVISION PATHFINDERS Ages 11-13
Envision Pathfinders is a program for young people who are ready to think harder, dig deeper, and find their people. Offering nine rigorous, interdisciplinary blocks that challenge students academically while grounding them in the natural world and in each other, Pathfinders meets students right where they are and stretches them toward who they are becoming.
At Pacifica's living campus in Williams, students engage with world history, ecology, classical literature, mathematics, and hands-on design — always weaving disciplines together the way the real world does. Every block is anchored in a core subject and culminates in a real project. Students conduct field investigations, build structures in the woodworking studio, study ancient civilizations, read and respond to great literature, and present their work to the group and to their families.
Pathfinders is designed to complement your homeschool by providing the peer community, academic depth, creative challenge, and place-based experiences that are hardest to replicate at home — while honoring your family's values and the direction you've set for your child's education.
Highlights to look forward to:
- The Caravanserai — a fully costumed live role-playing event set along the ancient Silk Road
- End-of-year class play — students perform and learn about allegory and metaphor hidden in Stories
- Individual nature and adventure book projects
- Illustrated travel guides to ancient world heritage sites compiled into a class publication
- Original field science investigations in ecology and mathematics on Pacifica's land
- Large-scale collaborative watershed map built by the whole group
- Trimester capstone celebrations open to families
- Daily morning math and language arts skills practice
