ENVISION EXPLORERS Ages 8–10
Curiosity doesn't need to be taught at this age — it just needs somewhere to go. Pacifica's forests, waterways, and wide open land have a way of turning kids into scientists, storytellers, and mapmakers. Envision Explorers offers academic enrichment rooted in the natural world across nine project-based blocks spanning Language Arts, Science, Mathematics, and Social Studies.
Pacifica's 400 acres — its forests, waterways, gardens, woodworking studio, ceramics studio, and music room — are not a backdrop for learning but an essential part of it. Every block is anchored in a core academic subject and culminates in a real project. Students become mapmakers, microbiologists, geologists, world historians, data collectors, engineers, and storytellers — often all in the same trimester. Each trimester closes with a capstone event, and the year builds toward a full original class play in the Spring.
Explorers is designed to complement and enrich your homeschool, offering the experiences that are hardest to create at home: a vibrant peer community, hands-on science, art studios, maker spaces, and outdoor adventure — while leaving the most important decisions right where they belong, with you.
Highlights to look forward to:
- The Grand Gathering — a live-action role-playing event where students dress in costume and step into the ancient world
- Original class play performed by the students in a world they built together
- Student Science Showcase — every student presents their own original field experiment
- Kayaking, hiking, and fishing woven into the academic curriculum
- Ceramics, hand-work, and scientific illustration every trimester
- Trimester capstone celebrations open to families
- Daily morning math and language arts skills practice
- Envision School-Wide Dance and community events throughout the year

Occasionally, a small additional fee may be requested for specialized materials needed to provide extra academic support. In addition, students enrolled in the Architects class will have an additional supply fee to cover the cost of the compiled reader used throughout the school year. Families will always be notified in advance of any additional fees. Families are responsible for providing their student's individual school supplies. A detailed school supply list will be provided upon registration.
