Trevon Dawson is an 18-year-old country music singer-songwriter from Cole Camp, Missouri, whose gritty vocals and heartfelt lyrics reflect a soul much older than his years. He first captured national attention as a standout contestant on Season 27 of NBC’s The Voice, but Trevon’s journey started long before the big stage.
At just 15 years old, Trevon was basking on street corners and performing at farmers markets across small-town Missouri—anywhere he could share his sound. Raised in a family that moved frequently due to his dad’s work, music became his anchor. Trevon taught himself to play guitar at age 11, and with his father’s guidance on vocals, he began carving out his signature sound—a mix of red dirt and outlaw country influenced by legends like Johnny Cash, Chris Stapleton, and The SteelDrivers. Since then, he’s taken his talent to stages big and small—from the Ozark Amphitheater, Missouri State Fair, and The Baldknobbers in Branson, to countless bars.
