Media Release

I grant Orleans Camera Inc., its employees, instructors, and agents permission to photograph, film, and record me during any class, workshop, or photo walk, and to use those images, video, audio, and my first name, without payment or further approval, in Orleans Camera’s marketing and promotion. This includes its website, social media, email, print, and advertising, and covers any medium now known or later developed. I understand these materials belong to Orleans Camera Inc. and that I am not entitled to compensation. I release Orleans Camera Inc. from any claims arising from this use.

Assumption of Risk, Release of Liability, and Indemnification

I am voluntarily taking part in classes, workshops, and photo walks offered by Orleans Camera Inc. I understand that these activities, especially outdoor photo walks, involve risks. These include uneven or slippery terrain, beaches, dunes, tides, water, weather, darkness, traffic, insects and ticks, wildlife, and physical exertion. Any of these can cause injury, illness, or property damage.

I assume all of these risks. I confirm that I am physically able to take part. I am responsible for judging my own limits and for leaving any activity I feel is unsafe.

Personal property: I am solely responsible for my camera equipment and personal belongings. Orleans Camera Inc. is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to my gear or property, including damage from weather, water, sand, drops, or falls.

Transportation: I am responsible for my own transportation to and from all class and photo walk locations. Orleans Camera Inc. does not provide, arrange, or supervise travel and is not responsible for any accident, injury, damage, ticket, or loss that occurs while traveling or parking, including while carpooling with other participants.

Release: To the fullest extent allowed by law, I release Orleans Camera Inc. and its owners, officers, employees, instructors (including independent contractors), and agents from any and all claims for injury, illness, death, or property damage. This covers anything arising from my participation, including claims caused by their ordinary negligence. I also agree to indemnify and hold them harmless from any claims brought because of my own actions.

Medical: If I am injured or ill, I authorize Orleans Camera Inc. staff to call for emergency medical care on my behalf, at my expense.

Minors: If the participant is under 18, the parent or legal guardian signing this form agrees to all terms on the minor’s behalf.

I have read this release, I understand that I am giving up legal rights, and I am signing it voluntarily.

All class, workshop, and photo walk registrations are non-refundable. If you can’t attend: with at least 7 days’ notice, you may transfer your seat to another person or receive store credit toward a future class. Missed classes without notice are forfeited. If Orleans Camera cancels a class for low enrollment, instructor availability, or unsafe weather, you will be offered a reschedule date or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
