• 2026Youth Bowling Tournament Rules

    1. No Tobacco, drinking, playing of electronics games, cell phones or unnecessary delay of game will be tolerated during Tournament Play!!!!
    2. PROPER ATTIRE MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. NO TORN JEANS, TORN SHIRTS, OR OFFENSIVE CLOTHING. SHIRTS MUST BE WORN. NO SHIRTS WITH OBSCENE ADVERTISING OR LIQUOR ADVERTISEMENT MAY BE WORN. NO HALTER TOPS, HATS, SHORT SHORTS. TOURNAMENT OFFICIALS WILL DECIDE QUESTIONABLE ATTIRE. NO ADVERTISEMENT OF TOBACCO, LIQUOR, WINE, BEER AND GAMBLING INDUSTRIES ON ANY EQUIPMENT. ALL NECESSARY UNDERCLOTHES MUST BE WORN.
    3. All bowlers will use their highest previous year final average (minimum of 21 games). Bowlers without a previous year average must use current year average (minimum of 9 games completed by October 24, 2026). If a bowler's average is 10 pins higher for the current year that will be used. IF A BOWLER DOES NOT HAVE AN AVERAGE BOWLER MUST BOWL SCRATCH.
    4. Handicap is based on 100% of the difference in bowler's average & 210 for singles and all events. Doubles is a combined average of 420, team is combined average of 840 (4-person team).
    5. Entrants must be USBC Youth members bowling in Elkhart County.
    6. No bowler can bowl in only singles or doubles events. All entries are for both singles & doubles. Each event will be bowled in the youth's own division based on their average (see bottom of application).
    7. Team shall consist of 4 bowlers. (boys, girls or coed)
    8. Doubles shall consist of 2 bowlers. (boys, girls or coed)
    9. Falsification of any entry will result in automatic disqualification & loss of Entry Fees.
    10. No one will be allowed to catch up on missed frames. (0 for frames missed)
    11. Doubles will be bowled first then Singles events.
    12. FOOD & DRINKS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN BOWLERS AREA
    13. Bowlers may bowl in multiple teams (2 bowlers need to be different) and doubles (with different partners) with 1st score in each event bowled will be counted for all events.
