By signing below, I understand that I am purchasing limited-scope legal advising services from The Turner Law Firm, PLLC. I understand that the Firm’s services are limited to the specific consultation I have selected and the issues addressed during that consultation.
The consultation may be used for legal strategy, Texas family-law procedure, review or explanation of documents and court orders, preparation for hearings or mediation, settlement analysis, evidence and trial preparation, case organization, or other issues discussed with the attorney. The amount of attorney time provided is limited to the session length I purchased.
This agreement is for limited-scope legal services only and is not an agreement for full representation of my case. The Turner Firm will not enter an appearance as my attorney of record, appear in court for me, file documents for me, communicate with the court, opposing counsel, or another party on my behalf, negotiate my case, manage my deadlines, or otherwise handle my case unless a separate written agreement is signed.
I understand that I remain responsible for my case. This includes filing documents, paying court costs and filing fees, complying with court orders and deadlines, attending hearings and mediation, presenting evidence, communicating with the court and other parties when appropriate, and taking any other action necessary to protect my interests.
I agree to provide complete and accurate information. The attorney’s advice will be based on the information and documents I provide and the circumstances discussed during the consultation. I understand that incomplete, inaccurate, or omitted information may affect the advice I receive.
I understand that the consultation time I purchase is the amount of attorney time available for my matter. If I ask the attorney to review documents, evidence, pleadings, proposed orders, or other materials as part of the consultation, time spent reviewing those materials may be included within the purchased session time. Additional review, drafting, research, follow-up work, or additional consultation time is not included unless separately purchased or agreed to in writing.
I understand that circumstances may change after the consultation and that legal advice is based on the facts and law known at the time of the meeting. I also understand that individual courts, counties, and judges may have their own local rules, procedures, practices, and requirements, which may vary from one jurisdiction or courtroom to another and may affect how my case is handled. The Turner Firm does not guarantee any particular settlement, ruling, court decision, procedural result, or outcome.
By signing below, I confirm that I have read this agreement, understand the limited scope of the services I am purchasing, understand that I remain responsible for handling my case outside the agreed scope, and agree to proceed.
