Patch Reporting & Carabiner Tag Order
The READY SCOUT program is designed for Spirit of Adventure Scouts and Venture Scouts who wish to focus on Emergency Preparedness and learning to help themselves, their families, and their community “Be Prepared” before, during and after emergencies and disasters.

Scouts and Venture Scouts who choose to work towards their READY SCOUT initiative MUST complete six merit badges (three required and three optional) and complete one emergency preparedness response training. Upon completing the requirements, their Scoutmaster or Venture Crew Leader will contact the council in writing advising of the accomplishment. A special READY SCOUT patch and Council certificate recognizing their accomplishments will be awarded.
