AGREEMENT OF RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
I hereby agree to the following:
Retreat Costs & Additional Expenses
I understand that the retreat is designed to be mostly all-inclusive; however, not all expenses are covered by my accommodation/retreat payment. While many meals, activities, and experiences offered by the hosts are included, I understand that I will be financially responsible for certain additional expenses.
These may include some meals or food purchased outside of the planned retreat offerings, alcoholic beverages not specifically included, airfare to and from Italy, and transportation to the villa upon arrival. I understand that any personal purchases, optional activities, or other expenses outside of the retreat's stated inclusions are also my responsibility.
By participating in the retreat, I acknowledge and accept these additional financial responsibilities.
Deposit, Payment & Cancellation Policy
I understand that upon acceptance of my registration, a 50% deposit is due immediately to reserve my spot on the retreat. The remaining balance must be paid in full by March 15, 2027.
I understand and agree to the following cancellation and refund policy:
Cancellations made on or before February 1, 2027: 100% refund of all payments made.
Cancellations made February 2 through March 14, 2027: 25% refund of payments made.
Cancellations made on or after March 15, 2027: No refund will be issued, except as specifically provided under the Force Majeure provision below.
I understand that these cancellation terms are necessary because the retreat hosts make advance financial commitments on my behalf, including accommodations, activity reservations, transportation services, welcome gifts, and other retreat-related expenses, many of which may become non-refundable.
Force Majeure
In the event that the retreat must be canceled, postponed, or materially altered due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the retreat hosts, including but not limited to earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, wildfires, floods, hurricanes or severe storms, epidemics or pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government-imposed travel restrictions, mandatory evacuations, widespread transportation disruptions, or other comparable natural disasters or extraordinary events, the retreat hosts will make reasonable efforts to provide participants with an appropriate resolution.
If the retreat cannot reasonably proceed because of such an event, participants will be eligible for a refund of amounts paid, less any non-refundable or unrecoverable expenses already incurred on their behalf, such as accommodations, transportation, activities, reservations, or other prepaid retreat expenses.
The retreat hosts will not be responsible for participants' airfare, travel insurance, personal transportation, or other independently booked travel expenses. Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation and interruption coverage.
By submitting my registration and deposit, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the payment, cancellation, refund, and Force Majeure policies stated above.
I have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand it’s contents as well as the Refund/Cancellation Policies. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.
