UTSSC Beginner Mentorship — $49.95
A 1.5-hour small-group on-snow mentorship session for first-time and beginner skiers or snowboarders who want help getting comfortable before heading off on their own.
Small groups by design:
Minimum 2 participants
Maximum 4 participants per mentor
Mentorship focuses on beginner fundamentals such as stopping, turning, lift basics, safe movement on beginner terrain, and building confidence on snow.
Important: This is UTSSC peer mentorship led by experienced club members. It is not a Blue Mountain Ski School lesson.
COMING SOLO?
Ski With Buddies
If you'd like people to ski or snowboard with, you can opt into our casual Ski With Buddies program when you register.
We usually match participants into small groups of around 4–6 people based on similar ability levels. That helps keep the group comfortable, moving at a similar pace, and skiing or riding terrain that makes sense for everyone.
Very casual. Very optional.
These aren't assigned teams or mandatory groups. You're free to ski with friends, explore on your own, join your buddy group for part of the day, or change plans once you're there. We normally send the buddy groups shortly before the trip.
Didn't select it when you registered? Don't panic. The groups are simply there to help people connect — they're not closed teams or something you need special permission to join.
OPTIONAL SNOW CLOTHING
Don't own ski clothes? Add what you need.
You can add snow clothing to any trip package. Choose a jacket, snow pants, or both when you register.
Snow Jacket +$40
Snow Pants +$46
Jacket + Snow Pants +$86
⚠️ Bring your own goggles + gloves. Goggles and gloves/mittens are
not included with equipment or clothing rentals.
Please bring your own ski/snowboard goggles and warm waterproof gloves or mittens.
OPTIONAL MEAL VOUCHERS
Ski first. Figure out food now.
You can add Blue Mountain meal vouchers when you register if you'd rather have food already sorted for the day. Choose one, both, or neither.
Breakfast Voucher +$23
Eatery Meal Voucher +$30
