Why should I update my headshot?

Your headshot says everything about you. We know this. But there are so many factors to having a good headshot. Do you actually look happy? Do you need to be happy, or would you rather look moody, thoughtful, whimsical, etc? Do your eyes look sparkly, warm, & welcoming? That's good lighting. Is your face free of distracting wrinkles, distracting eye bags, distracting hair flyaway? That's editing. Are your clothes wrinkle-free? Are your glasses reflection-free? That's editing!

Are you tired of questioning it?? Are you tired of thinking about it? Just get it done.

Why is this event the perfect choice for updating your headshot?

EASY WIN. My setup fee is $500. For this event, that's fully taken care of. Anywhere else you go, to get this caliber of lighting and retouching, it's going to be more money than this. Take advantage of the lack of setup fee, being in a comfortable space, with a handful of friends around you, chatting & laughing & feeling weird together. There will be snacks. SNACKS, people. 

How many headshots should I register for?

It depends.

If you rarely create social media content, and need one solid headshot to spread across your profile pictures (LinkedIn, email, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)--then sign up for one.

If you create content often, and find yourself layering pictures+words, clipping yourself out & creating graphics, and generally finding a million uses for pretty pictures of yourself--trust me on this--sign up for three headshots. I'm offering black, white, and nature backgrounds (yes, nature means outside in real nature). You'll get three different looks to match all the different moods & styles of your posts. And on headshot day (10/27), you'll get to pick your favorites from each background, day of, on the spot.
