We’ll also consider how this ancient holiday has evolved as Ethiopian Jewish communities have made their homes in Israel.

She holds a Ph.D. from Yale and rabbinic ordination from Hebrew Union College, and her work has appeared in the Times of Israel, The Forward, and MyJewishLearning.com.
