About the Musician:
Arthur Bull is a writer, musician and activist who lives on Digby Neck. He has been active on the improvised music scene in Canada since the '70s at the Music Gallery in Toronto. In '80s, he was a member of the Bill Smith Ensemble, and the music/performance duo Duck Soup. Since the '90s, he has worked mostly with fellow guitarist Daniel Heïkalo. Currently, he is member of Monicker with Scott Thomson and Roger Turner. Arthur has released more than 30 CDs, and has toured Europe, the Middle East, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Japan. Arthur has published seven poetry collections. As an activist, he has worked for small-scale fisheries and rural advocacy organizations locally and internationally.
