GET YOUR ART OFF THE WALL… AND INTO SOMEONE’S HOME!

LIC Artists (LIC-A) is excited to announce the return of "OFF THE WALL", our annual holiday exhibition and art sale presented in collaboration with our friends at Culture Lab LIC. This annual collaboration is one we look forward to every year, bringing together artists, art lovers, holiday shoppers, and the LIC community for a fun and welcoming celebration of original art. And best of all: Artists keep 100% of their sales!

ALL MEDIUMS WELCOME!

We’re looking for work in all mediums, styles, and approaches: painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, mixed media, collage, fiber, sculpture, ceramics, assemblage, and more.  And despite the name, not everything has to go on the wall!

THE CERAMICS TABLE IS BACK!

Our dedicated Ceramics Table welcomes both functional and sculptural work, from cups, bowls, plates, and vessels to small sculptures and one-of-a-kind ceramic objects.

ART UNDER $1,000

All work must be priced under $1,000.  Part exhibition, part holiday art sale, "Off the Wall" is designed to make buying original artwork approachable and fun. Because artists keep 100% of their sales, we encourage you to price your work accordingly and consider accessible price points below the $1,000 maximum. “Off the Wall” has historically seen strong art sales, and buyers take purchased work directly off the wall. If your work sells, you may replace it with another piece, so please have additional work ready to keep your space filled throughout the exhibition.

Whether it hangs from the ceiling, on a wall, sits on a pedestal, belongs on a table, or makes the perfect unexpected holiday gift, we want to see it!

This will be a curated exhibition. Submitting artwork does not guarantee selection for exhibition. Entries can be submitted by this online form only, and submissions must be received by midnight on the date of the deadline. Artists keep 100% of their sales — Culture Lab LIC and LIC-A take no commission. We do ask artists to volunteer with install or gallery sit! LIC-A is a volunteer run organization.
