3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
To withdraw, you must submit a cancellation form on our website at www.artofpianoplaying.com no later than 10/21/2026. Verbal notices, emails, messages to teachers, or simply stopping attendance DO NOT constitute an official cancellation.
If the cancellation form is not received by the deadline, your card will be automatically charged for the 2nd installment payment according to the payment schedule above. After the cancellation deadline, all scheduled tuition remains due, and any tuition already paid is non-refundable, regardless of attendance.
REFUND POLICY:
Fifty percent (50%) of the first installment payment serves as a non-refundable enrollment and seat-reservation deposit. Processing fees are non-refundable.
If a cancellation form is submitted by the cancellation deadline, the scheduled 2nd installment will be canceled. Tuition will be calculated through the student`s final class date selected on the cancellation form. (Absences before that date do not reduce the amount due). If additional tution is owed for classes through the selected final class date, that amount remains due. Any remaining unused tuition from the 1st installment, above the non-refundable enrollment and seat-reservation deposit, will be refunded.
No refunds, credits, or make-ups will be given for absences, illness. In event of an emergency, a make-up class may be arranged at our discretion only if the school offers multiple class days and space is available.
Behavioral Dismissal: Piano Club reserves the right to dismiss a student for serious or repeated behavioral issues. Tuition through the effective dismissal date remains due. Any future scheduled installment not yet processed will be canceled, and any unused tuition paid for classes after the dismissal date will be refunded. Parents/guardians may also be responsible for the cost of any music equipment damage caused by the student. The enrollment/seat-reservation deposit and processing fees remain non-refundable.
