1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Karate is a physical discipline involving physical contact, strenuous exercise, repetitive movements, including risk of injury (bruises, sprains or worse). By participating in the Budo Karate Seminar, you acknowledge that these activities carry an inherent risk of physical injury. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with the techniques to be performed at this seminar.
2. MEDICAL CONSULTATION
The seminar is designed for participation of practitioners of all ages. Because physical health varies significantly from person to person, we strongly recommend that you ensure that you are physically fit and disclose any pre-existing health conditions or injuries. This is particularly important if you have a history of:
- High blood pressure or heart disease
- Joint replacements or chronic back/neck issues
- Balance or dizziness disorders
- Diabetes or any condition that affects physical exertion.
3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Australia, the organisers, hosts, instructors and venue owner of the 2027 Budo Karate Seminar shall not be held liable for any injuries, losses, or damages (direct or indirect) resulting from your participation in the seminar. You agree to practice within your own physical limits and “listen to your body” at all times. If you feel pain, stop immediately.
