    Bayou Diamond Series is an independent, unsanctioned youth sports organization. Our tournaments are not governed by or affiliated with a national sanctioning organization unless specifically stated for a particular event.

    BDS establishes and operates under its own tournament rules, age requirements, game formats, eligibility standards, safety procedures, and sportsmanship expectations.

    Teams from any organization are welcome to participate, provided they meet BDS tournament requirements and agree to follow BDS rules for the duration of the event.

    Participation in a BDS tournament does not require teams to be sanctioned through a specific organization.

    Important: Rules that teams may normally play under through USSSA, FASA, Perfect Game, Babe Ruth, or another organization do not automatically apply to Bayou Diamond Series events. BDS Tournament Rules will govern all games and tournament decisions unless otherwise stated.

    All coaches are responsible for reviewing the BDS Tournament Rules that will be provided before the start of play. By entering the tournament, the team acknowledges and agrees to abide by those rules.

      Tournament Deposit

      A $100 deposit (refundable) is required to secure your team’s spot in the tournament. The deposit also helps reduce last-minute cancellations and no-shows that can affect scheduling, brackets, other participating teams, and tournament expenses.


      Your deposit will be returned at team check-in on tournament day. Teams must show up and check in as scheduled to receive their deposit back. A team that withdraws, cancels, or does not appear for the tournament will forfeit the deposit to help offset costs already committed for the event.


      The deposit is not an additional tournament fee—it is simply your team’s commitment to participate.
