    Why Panorama?

    The mountain, the lodge, the hot pools, the après, and the chaos are all in the same village. Less commuting. More skiing. More “wait, everyone is here?” energy.

    The Approach is right at the base area. Leave the building and get to the lift almost immediately.

    A smaller west-coast trip where people actually get to know each other.

    Where we’re staying

    We’re staying at The Approach in Panorama Village.

    • UTSSC organizes rooming based on signup details, friend requests, and available space
    Coming solo? Totally normal. You do not need to know anyone beforehand to join.

    Private bed upgrade

    Rooming is shared. Depending on the final room layout, some participants may naturally end up with their own bed, but this is not guaranteed.

    Optional upgrade: $250

    Guarantees your own bed, not your own room. Rooming is still shared.

    Private bed upgrades are limited and depend on available room layouts.

    Travel timing

    The travel window is January 28–February 1, 2027. Accommodation is booked from January 28–31, 2027.

    • The group will travel to Calgary on January 28.
    • The group will likely depart Panorama on January 31.
    • Return flights may arrive in Toronto late January 31 or early February 1.
    • Flight timing is not guaranteed until flights are booked.
    • If you need to be back in Toronto early February 1, indicate this in the form. UTSSC will try to accommodate this where possible.

    Lift tickets

    Lift tickets are not included in either package. Select the number of ski days you want during registration.

    Prices are based on the current resort invoice with the group discount applied. If you already have a valid pass product that covers Panorama, select the relevant option in the form.

    Rentals

    You do not need to book rentals in advance through UTSSC.

    Participants can arrange skis, snowboards, boots, helmets, and other rental gear directly at Panorama, including day-of rentals.

    Don’t panic if you don’t own gear. Rentals are handled separately at the mountain.

    Flights & ground transfer

    The flight-inclusive package includes round-trip group flights and the group transfer between Calgary and Panorama.

    • Flight details will be shared once group airfare is finalized.
    • There may be multiple flight groups depending on availability, pricing, and participant needs.
    • The group transfer is timed around the official UTSSC flight schedule.
    • If you arrange your own flights, your timing must match the confirmed group transfer schedule to travel with the group.

    Booking your own flights? Read this first.

    Do not book before UTSSC confirms.

    Wait until UTSSC confirms that the trip is going ahead and shares the finalized group flight and transfer schedule before booking your own flights or other non-refundable travel.

    The trip may be cancelled if there are not enough signups. If you book independently before UTSSC gives that confirmation, you accept the risk of those bookings. UTSSC will not reimburse your independently booked flights, cancellation fees, or other independent travel costs if the trip does not go ahead.

    Making the group departure is your responsibility.

    If you arrange your own flights or travel, you are responsible for arriving at the confirmed pickup location in time for the scheduled group departure.

    If a flight delay, cancellation, missed connection, or any other disruption means you miss the group departure, you are responsible for arranging and paying for alternative transportation to Panorama. The group transfer cannot be guaranteed to wait or make a separate pickup. The same responsibility applies if you miss the scheduled return transfer.

    UTSSC will not reimburse additional transportation, accommodation, flight changes, or other costs caused by disruptions to your independently arranged travel.

    Payments & refunds

    A deposit is required to reserve your spot. Participants selecting the flight-inclusive package will later be asked to pay a larger flight deposit before airfare is booked.

    Deposit at signup

    Your initial deposit holds your spot. It is refundable before December 1 unless UTSSC has already booked or committed non-refundable costs on your behalf.

    Flight deposit: November 15, 2026

    Participants selecting the flight-inclusive package must pay the larger flight deposit or choose to pay the full balance by this date. UTSSC will confirm the amount once flight pricing is clearer.

    Final balance + refund deadline
    • December 1, 2026: final balance is due.
    • Before December 1: full refunds are available except for flights or other non-refundable trip costs already booked or committed on your behalf.
    • After December 1: payments are non-refundable.
    • Name changes or spot transfers may be possible, but are not guaranteed and may involve airline, resort, or administrative fees.

    These refund terms apply to payments made to UTSSC. Independently booked travel is subject to the provider’s terms and the independent-travel responsibilities above.

    Final Acknowledgement, Payments & Refunds

    Please read this carefully before submitting. This is the part where the logistics gremlins get serious.

    What you are confirming

    • I am responsible for the accuracy of all information I provide in this registration, including package selection, lift ticket choices, upgrades, personal details, emergency contact information, and any timing constraints I disclose.
    • I understand that the base Panorama 2027 travel package includes group flights, accommodation, Calgary/Panorama ground transfer, and UTSSC trip coordination.
    • I understand that lift tickets, rentals, food, lessons, personal expenses, and optional upgrades are not included in the base package unless specifically selected and paid for.
    • I understand that rooms are shared and that a private bed upgrade, if selected, guarantees my own bed but does not guarantee a private room.
    • I understand that flight timing is not guaranteed until flights are booked, and that there may be multiple flight groups depending on availability, pricing, and participant needs.

    Step 1
    Deposit at signup

    Your deposit is paid through this form by credit card and holds your spot on the trip.

    Step 2
    Flight deposit deadline

    By November 15, 2026, participants must pay a larger flight deposit or choose to pay the full balance. UTSSC will confirm the exact amount closer to the deadline once flight pricing is clearer.

    Step 3
    Final balance deadline

    The final balance is due by December 1, 2026. Remaining payments will likely be collected by e-transfer unless UTSSC provides alternate instructions.

    Refund policy

    • Before December 1, 2026: full refunds are available except for any flights or non-refundable trip costs already booked or committed on your behalf.
    • After December 1, 2026: payments are non-refundable.
    • Once UTSSC books or commits flights, accommodation, lift tickets, upgrades, or other trip costs on your behalf, those amounts may no longer be refundable even if December 1 has not yet passed.
    • Name changes or spot transfers may be possible, but are not guaranteed and may be subject to airline, resort, payment processing, or administrative fees.
    • Refund exceptions are not guaranteed for injuries, illness, missed exams, academic conflicts, travel conflicts, personal emergencies, or schedule changes.

    Damage deposit

    A refundable damage deposit may be collected closer to the trip. This deposit is separate from the trip package price and will be refunded after the trip provided there are no damages, excessive cleaning charges, missing items, or other costs linked to your room or group.

    Safety, media & trip conduct

    • In case of a medical emergency, I consent to treatment by authorized personnel where necessary.
    • I agree to follow UTSSC trip expectations, resort rules, accommodation rules, transportation rules, and instructions from trip organizers.
    • I understand that serious misconduct, unsafe behaviour, damage, harassment, or failure to follow trip rules may result in removal from trip activities without refund.
    • I grant UTSSC permission to use photos and videos taken during the trip for club materials and social media, unless I notify UTSSC in writing before the trip.
