Welcome to the Brainspotting Phase 1 Training registration page!

Brainspotting Training includes lecture, live demonstration, and dyadic practicums in which participants have the opportunity to fully experience Brainspotting as a client and practitioner. Due to the highly experiential nature of the training, it is critical that all participants are fully present for the entire training. Training will be held 10:00am - 7:00pm CST each day. There will be breaks in morning and afternoon, and a 75 minute dinner/lunch break daily.

To maximize your training experience, please consider the following:

*Your virtual experience will be best if you area able to use a computer, rather than a tablet or phone.

*It is best to use the app for Zoom rather than a web based Zoom account.

*Plan to be present for all parts of the training and have a private space for the experiential components.

*Consider all other factors that may impact your ability to be present for the training. Please do not plan to hold meetings over lunch break or other times during the training. Consider preparing meals in advance so you can rest and relax during your down time.

*You are expected to keep your camera on during the training, with the understanding that you may need periodically take a screen break.

*This training will be presented in English and Zoom generated Closed Captioning will be enabled.

This training is approved by Brainspotting Trainings, LLC and meets the Brainspotting Phase 1 requirement towards Brainspotting certification.

Confidentiality and Recording
During the Brainspotting training you will witness and experience live demonstrations, and practice Brainspotting techniques as a client and as a therapist. It is expected that you will treat these demonstrations and practicums with the same level of confidentiality as you would a client session. Please be sure to use headphones and position your self in your space so that others cannot view your screen or hear your audio, if you cannot be in a private space. Recording of any part of the training is strictly prohibited, this includes screen shots, screen recording, any form of photography, unless explicit permission has been obtained. **The trainers will take a picture of the participants for use on the Brainspotting Facebook and webpages- participants will be notified when this occurs and given ample time to opt out**
Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that situations arise. If you need to cancel, please contact us at Brainspotting@twinflowerpsych.com. Please be sure that you are able to be present (on camera for virtual trainings) for all three days of the training. All cancellations must be received 3 days prior to the first day of training, and will be fully refunded less the 4% transaction fee and less $50 if materials have already been sent. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AS A RESULT OF PARTIAL ATTENDANCE. PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE ABLE TO BE FULLY PRESENT FOR THE ENTIRE TRAINING.

Upon completion of this training, your name, email, and mailing address will be shared with Brainspotting Trainings, LLC as required for tracking training participants and future Brainspotting notifications and information.
Training Demonstration Volunteer
Are you interested in volunteering for one of the experiential demonstrations for the training? If yes, please provide a brief description of what you would like to work on. We aim to have representation of all participants and will also use social identity as part of our selection process. If comfortable, please indicate your social identities as part of your description. The demonstration is an opportunity for you to experience the Brainspotting process with the trainer in front of the training group. Generally, more folks volunteer for the demonstrations than are needed. If selected, you will be notified by email the day before the training begins.
Experiential Awareness
During Brainspotting Trainings you will have the opportunity to both witness and practice live Brainspotting sessions. This teaching is highly experiential and you may experience activation during the process. You are encouraged to engage in meaningful self-care throughout the training and reach out to any of the facilitators for support. Additionally, please remember that the practicums are for practice purposes and while healing may occur, we encourage you to focus on issues that are well within your system's window of tolerance.
Continuing Education
o ASWB: Brainspotting Phase 1 is cosponsored by Twinflower Psychological Services LLC. Brainspotting Phase 1, 6383, is approved by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program to be offered by Elevated Life Academy as an individual course. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE course approval period: 7/18/2025-7/18/2027. Social workers completing this course receive 21 clinical continuing education credits.

CE Disclosure

Evaluations, attendance certificates, and purchased CE certificates ($40.00) will be available to attendees within a week after training completion.
