      Please note that due to the nature of products being made, we are limited in dietary options and unfortunately cannot offer Gluten Free.

      ✅ Top Tier: 3 x Patisserie

      ✅ Middle Tier: 1 x Fruited Cinnamon Scone, 1 x Jam, 1 x clotted cream

      ✅ Bottom Plate: 3 x finger sandwiches consisting of: Chicken & cranberry chestnut stuffing, cheese & onion medley, tuna & beetroot mayo, Cream cheese & cucumber brioche.

      (Vegetarian: Cheddar & Caramelised Onion & Chestnut Stuffing, Cheese & Spring Onion Medley, Beetroot Hummus with carrot & spinach, Cream cheese & cucumber brioche.)

    • Maximum group size is 8.

      I'm sorry but we rarely accept groups of 7 or more as we are very small and try to be more intimate than a party place. However for Christmas Afternoon Tea we can do a maximum of 8. We are unable to go higher than that I'm afraid.

    • Sadly Josephine's is too small to be child friendly

      Sorry but we do not class ourselves as child friendly and do not have baby change facilities, highchairs or facilities to store or host pushchairs and prams. This is also why we do not offer a child menu.

      Josephine's is very small and awkwardly shaped. It is unsafe for staff and customers trying to accomodate pushchairs and highchairs.

      We would rather you knew now than turn up and be disappointed.

      Apart from a 4 inch step into Josephine's everything is at ground level and we have an accessible toilet. 

      We have a ramp we can put out to help get wheelchairs including motorised ones in. It is a portable rubber one you may have seen elsewhere.

      We only have one area we can host a wheelchair at the table so it is vital you book well in advance.

    It is very unlikely we will be able to accept dietary requests on the day so please ensure all information is provided in the next page if there are dietary/allergy requirements.

    DIETARY & ALLERGIES - DETAILS

     

    We are unable to meet requests such as Gluten Free or Halal. We can meet simple requests such as Brown Bread only or No butter. Please put these requests in the Special Requests at the end of the booking process.

  • Payment & Confirmation

  • 1. Christmas Afternoon Tea requires a £20 deposit payment in advance.

    We require a higher than normal deposit due to the increased cost of producing and obtaining Christmas stock. 

    2. Refunding your payment

    At least 1 weeks notice required for all bookings. Less than one week notice will result in loss of deposit. This is due to the amount of work done and ingredients bought in advance. However we operate a fairness policy whereby if we resell your tables and have no stock wastage then we will refund you. As a small independent it is very much in our interests to provide the best possible service and we feel that holding onto deposits unfairly is immoral.
