October 17, 2026 EHC Workshop Registration

Join us for an afternoon of education and fun! Learn from one of Pittsburgh's leading textured hair care experts, Mrs. Tamiah Bridgett-Alexander, about caring for your child's textured hair. This event is geared toward caregivers who have Black or mixed race children in their care and want to learn about caring for their hair. The products demonstrated and distributed are appropriate for that hair type.

Where: FLP Center located at 463 S Trenton Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15221
When: Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 10 - 12 pm
What: Learn the basics about caring for your child's natural hair. Participants will learn the best techniques for washing, detangling and maintaining healthy textured hair, as well as some styling tips!

Note: Only children 6 & older may attend

Cost: $10 per family

*All products needed to participate in this workshop will be provided.

*Light refreshments will be available.

*All children attending will leave with materials to put their new knowledge to use!
