Invoice Description - 

Includes four weekly 90-minute Business Launch Lab group sessions, participant workbook, business formation/EIN guidance, pricing and operations guidance, branding and launch planning, weekly action steps, group support, and a 30-day launch action plan. Program services are educational and administrative/business-startup guidance only.

Payment Terms -

Full payment is due at enrollment unless the participant selects the approved payment plan.

Payment-plan participants pay $200 at enrollment and the remaining $197 no later than 7 calendar days before Week 1. A participant is not fully confirmed until the required payment for their selected option has been successfully received.

Additional Costs-

The program fee does not include government filing fees, registered-agent fees, licenses or permits, domain/website costs, bank fees, insurance, professional legal/tax/accounting fees, or other third-party business expenses. Those costs remain the participant's responsibility.

Business Launch Lab is a four-week small-group educational and implementation program designed to help participants clarify a business concept, understand common startup steps, work through business-formation readiness, build basic operating systems, and prepare a launch/action plan.

Government filing fees, licensing or permit fees, registered-agent fees, website/domain costs, banking charges, insurance, professional services, payment-processing charges, and other third-party expenses are not included in the program fee and remain the Participant’s responsibility.

Creative Roots provides general education, practical business-startup guidance, administrative support concepts, templates, and implementation coaching. Creative Roots is not acting as the Participant’s attorney, CPA, tax preparer, investment adviser, financial adviser, insurance agent, or other licensed professional.

The Participant remains solely responsible for choosing a business structure; verifying business-name availability; reviewing and submitting filings; determining tax treatment; obtaining licenses, permits, insurance, and professional advice; maintaining accurate records; and making all final business decisions.

They agree to the Business Launch Lab payment, cancellation, attendance, confidentiality, and participation terms.

Participant agrees to review information before submitting it to any government agency, bank, platform, vendor, or customer.

Participant understands that Creative Roots does not guarantee approval of an LLC, EIN, license, permit, bank account, financing, grant, trademark, vendor account, or other application.

Participant understands that Creative Roots does not guarantee revenue, customers, profit, funding, social-media growth, launch results, or business success.

Participant understands that results depend on the Participant's decisions, follow-through, market, circumstances, and other factors outside Creative Roots' control.

Participant agrees to make a good-faith effort to attend the weekly sessions, arrive prepared, bring any requested device/materials, participate respectfully, and complete action steps between sessions.

Participant understands that missed group sessions may not be replaced with private one-on-one sessions unless Creative Roots separately agrees in writing.

Participant acknowledges that they may hear business ideas, personal experiences, pricing, customer information, or other non-public information from other group members.

Participant agrees not to intentionally disclose another participant's confidential or non-public information outside the group without that participant's permission.

Participant understands that Creative Roots will use reasonable care with participant information, but cannot guarantee that another group member will comply with this obligation.

Participant understands that Creative Roots may remove a Participant whose conduct is threatening, discriminatory, harassing, intentionally disruptive, fraudulent, or materially interferes with the learning environment.

Participant understands that if removal is for Participant misconduct after the cohort begins, no refund is required.

Participant understands that workbooks, checklists, templates, lesson materials, presentations, recordings, and other Creative Roots materials are provided for Participant's personal/business use only. They are not to be given or used by a third party or a non participant of the cohort.

Participant agrees that completed materials may be used in the Participant's own business but may not be reproduced, resold, published, distributed, taught, licensed, or provided to others without written permission.

Recording and Images

Participant may not record group sessions without prior written permission from Creative Roots. Creative Roots will not use Participant's image, voice, testimonial, or identifiable business story for public marketing without separate permission. 

Cancellation and Refunds

 

Because Business Launch Lab is intentionally limited to a small cohort, the $200 enrollment payment is non-refundable once a seat is reserved, except if Creative Roots cancels the cohort or cannot provide Participant a spot. Any amount paid above the $200 enrollment payment may be refunded when written cancellation is received at least 7 calendar days before Week 1. After that deadline and once the cohort begins, program payments are non-refundable. Creative Roots may, at its discretion, offer a one-time transfer credit to a future cohort.

Creative Roots Cancellation or Rescheduling

If Creative Roots must cancel the entire cohort, amounts paid for the canceled program will be refunded. Creative Roots may reasonably reschedule an individual session due to illness, emergency, weather, facility, technology, or other circumstances and will provide notice when practicable.

Technology / Third-Party Services

Participant may choose to use government websites, banks, payment processors, domain providers, social platforms, design services, bookkeeping tools, or other third-party services. Creative Roots does not control and is not responsible for third-party terms, outages, security, pricing, decisions, or performance.

Entire Agreement / Changes

This Agreement, together with the applicable enrollment/payment record, states the parties' understanding regarding the Business Launch Lab cohort. Any material change should be in writing. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to the extent permitted by law.

By signing, Participant confirms they have read and understand this Agreement and agree to its terms.
