COMPETITION DATE: Saturday, November 21st - 1-5pm at Maxwell Street Presbyterian Church. Prior to applying, you must have gotten your proposed repertoire approved by the CKYO Music Director approval of your proposed repertoire. APPLICATION DUE Sunday, November 1st, 2026.

STRING PLAYERS: KMEA Solo and Ensemble is also Saturday, November 21st. Please let us know if you are participating in that so we can be in touch regarding scheduling. Also, please talk to your teachers about scheduling your events in the morning so we can schedule you later in the afternoon to give you time between the two events. We will publish the Concerto Schedule on FRIDAY, November 6th.

CKYO requires competitors to play their selection with piano accompaniment. CKYO does not provide an accompanist for the competition, but can help with recommendations, if needed.

CONVERT ANY JPGs or PHOTOS TO A PDF AND COMBINE INTO ONE DOCUMENT. THERE ARE FREE PDF CONVERSION TOOLS ONLINE. CKYO will not accept hard copies.
