Trick or Treat: A Look at New York's Sweeter Side

From the first ice cream shop in America to the invention of the Oreo cookie, New York has been in forefront of the candy economy in America for more than two centuries. As Halloween approaches, we'll take a deep dive into confectionary of all sorts in New York, from the earliest known candy companies in the city to the role New York's retailers played in making Halloween a national event.
