  • Under 21 (including high school students): Ohio requires the 24-hour course and 8 hours behind the wheel. 21 and older: the 4-hour Abbreviated Adult Course.

  • Under 21 – Behind-the-Wheel Training, 8 Hours -- Cost: $400

    Complete your required 8 hours of in-car driving practice with CCTC. To begin scheduling your driving lessons, submit your official certificate of completion from a State of Ohio-approved 24-hour online driver education course to the CCTC office.

    Under 21 – Online 24-Hour Driver Education Course -- Cost: $75

    Fulfill your 24-hour driver education requirement online! When you register through CCTC, you will receive a voucher code to access the self-paced course hosted on Aceable.com. All website support and course assistance will be handled directly by Aceable.

    Adult 21+ – Behind-the-Wheel Training, 4 Hours (Abbreviated) -- Cost: $200

    Complete your 4 hours of behind-the-wheel driving instruction with our certified instructors. Driving lessons can be scheduled once you have successfully completed the 4-hour Abbreviated Adult Course (AAC).

    All Students – Additional BTW Hours -- Cost: $80/hour ($60/hr with coupon code provided at checkout)

    Schedule additional on-the-road driving practice to refine your skills or gain extra confidence behind the wheel. Available in minimum 1-hour sessions to supplement standard driver education requirements.

    All Students – CCTC Vehicle for Road Test -- Cost: $40

    Reserve a CCTC driver education car for your official driving test. A certified instructor will accompany you to and from the testing facility and make the vehicle available for your exam.

  • Collins Career Technical Center's Driving School Terms Of Service

    • No refunds will be given once a student begins any part of the course.
    • $25 fee will be charged each time a student fails to appear, arrives unprepared for the BTW lesson, or does not notify the school at least 24 hours prior to the lesson.
    • Weather-related cancellations are at the instructor's discretion.
    • Certification of Completion is available five business days after the course is completed and full payment is made.
    • No person shall falsify, alter, or otherwise tamper with any records required to be kept under the OH admin code.

  • Transportation Acknowledgement

  • I give permission for Collins Career Technical Center to transport me. Collins Career Technical Center cannot provide transportation to individuals who are not receiving driving services from Collins Career Technical Center, including family members or friends.

  • Media Acknowledgement

  • I give Collins Career Technical Center permission to photograph or video-record me for record-keeping and advertising purposes (videos, flyers, and social media). Records will be retained in accordance with Collins Career Technical Center's records retention schedule.

  • Emergency Medical Services Authorization

  • I authorize consent for medical treatment and/or surgery in case of an emergency and understand that all associated costs are my responsibility.

  • Training Completion Acknowledgement

  • The student is required to complete all available training within six months of the training start date. Upon expiration of this agreement, a reinstatement fee may be charged before any further services are provided. Collins Career Technical Center does not guarantee the issuance of a driver's license to applicants.

  • Training Agreement Cancellation Acknowledgment

  • Collins Career Technical Center reserves the right to cancel this agreement at any time, should the applicant's conduct indicate a lack of responsibility deemed necessary by Collins Career Technical Center, or its instructor, to safely operate a motor vehicle. Destruction of property, or the possession, distribution, or use of any tobacco product, alcohol, or drug of abuse is strictly prohibited. Should this agreement be canceled under such circumstances, no refunds will be made.

  • Release of Information Disclosure Acknowledgement

  • I give my permission for Collins Career Technical Center to collect, generate, disclose, and re-disclose information and written reports about me. These reports and information concerning me will be shared to and from the sources listed on this form so that I can be assisted in achieving successful outcomes and receiving Collins Career Technical Center services. I understand this release will include the information in this form and is valid for 180 days, as required by Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD), or 365 days if required by Medicaid. This authorization can be revoked at any time by providing written notice to Collins Career Technical Center. I understand that any information released prior to revocation cannot be retrieved and that Collins Career Technical Center will not be held responsible for such. I hereby release Collins Career Technical Center from all legal responsibilities or liability that may arise from this act.
