Welcome to the 2027 DANCE PRESCRIPTION Program Auditions

DANCE PRESCRIPTION is an elite jazz technique extension program for talented and dedicated dancers, designed to complement their regular home studio training. Face-to-face programs run on fortnightly Sundays throughout the year.

In 2027, DANCE PRESCRIPTION will operate across two Melbourne locations: Melbourne North (Thornbury) and Melbourne South (Dingley).

We’re also excited to expand to two Sydney locations in 2027: Sydney North (St Leonards) and Sydney South (Peakhurst).

Following a highly successful pilot, our Brisbane program will continue in Kedron in 2027.

Our Virtual Program offers flexible training options, with sessions held on Sunday afternoons or before school on Monday mornings. It’s ideal for dancers living interstate, regionally or internationally who want access to DP training and the opportunity to be part of the DP community.

Dancers may audition at any location for their preferred program. Wherever possible, dancers applying for a face-to-face program should attend an in-person audition rather than auditioning virtually. Dancers applying for the Virtual Program are welcome to audition online. If you cannot make any of the in person times, but would like to audition for a face-to-face program, please email info@dance-prescription.com to request a virtual audition.

Audition sessions are mixed-age. Dancers may book into any available audition session, regardless of age. All dancers will be assessed according to the appropriate expectations for their age and level, and considered alongside their relevant peer group.

If you’re unable to attend any in-person audition dates you may audition virtually for another location; however, we strongly recommend auditioning in person wherever possible. If you need to audition virtually for an in-person program, please email info@dance-prescription.com before registering for a virtual audition and we will give you the next steps.
