      I'm sorry but we rarely accept groups of 7 or more as we are very small and try to be more intimate than a party place. However, we may consider a group for our quieter times. Please contact us on 0115 8223661 or complete a web enquiry form.

    • Sadly Josephine's is too small to be child friendly

      Sorry but we do not class ourselves as child friendly and do not have baby change facilities, highchairs or facilities to store or host pushchairs and prams. This is also why we do not offer a child menu.

      Josephine's is very small and awkwardly shaped. It is unsafe for staff and customers trying to accomodate pushchairs and highchairs.

      We would rather you knew now than turn up and be disappointed.

      Apart from a 4 inch step into Josephine's everything is at ground level and we have an accessible toilet. 

      We have a ramp we can put out to help get wheelchairs including motorised ones in. It is a portable rubber one you may have seen elsewhere.

      We only have one area we can host a wheelchair at the table so it is vital you book well in advance.

  • We will extend your request to 2hrs. Please check your booking confirmation if we have managed to do this. May result in a time change to accomodate.

  • As you are having Luxury Afternoon Tea, we charge a discounted rate of £7 for a glass of prosecco, £22.50 for a bottle. You may either order in advance and pay now for it to be on the table when seated or order when you arrive.

  • Window Tables

    It is not possible to request a window table as tables are allocated depending on the flow of bookings to maximise bookings.

    If you are a Gold VIP keyring holder we will automatically try and reserve your preferred table. If you have indicated you are flexible on time then there is more chance you will get a window table but it is not guaranteed.
