Come hear Micheal Updike talk about his father's cartoons. Before becoming a two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist, John Updike's boyhood dream was actually to become a professional cartoonist. He heavily studied newspaper comics, wrote fan mail to famous cartoonists, and drew heavily for the Harvard Lampoon and during his time at the Ruskin School of Drawing.

Snacks and beverages will be provided.
