Bu chòir dhuibh taghadh bhon liosta gu h-ìosal dè na seiseanan a bu mhath leibh a dhèanamh.

We are delighted to confirm that this year's October Fèis will take place at Kincraig Community Hall. 

Participants will have the opportunity to participate in the usual variety of classes. 

Participants should choose their subjects using the form below. 

Please complete a seperate form for each child you wish to register, there is a different form for Fèis Bheag and Fèis Band.

 

Fhèis Mhòr | Main Fèis

Fèis Mhòr classes will take place between 10.00am and 3.30pm each day, with an END OF WEEK CONCERT at 2.30PM on Friday 16th.

Participants should choose three choices from the lists below:

*We are aiming to offer Whistle as 1st and 3rd choice and chanter 2nd choice but this may change subject to participant subject choices and abilities

**This year we are excited to offer the chance to combine song, drama and technology to make a music video over the fèis week!  There will also be the regular Gaelic song and drama options for 2nd and 3rd choices.  Subject to numbers.

If your child already plays an instrument, we would encourage them to choose that as their 1st choice option. 

To ensure we place participants in ability appropriate classes please indicate their level of experience in each subject, i.e.            

1= beginner: has never played the instrument before and would like to learn the basics
2 = improver: has played a little before & can play a simple tune
3 = intermediate: can play/accompany three or more pieces at a steady pace with good tuning & some ornamentation
4= advanced: can play/accompany a range of tune types (march, strathspey, reel, jig etc) at steady dancing pace with accurate tuning and complex ornamentation
