2027 Concerto Competition

2027 CONCERTO COMPETITION — ENTRY FORM

ENTRY DEADLINE: JANUARY 31, 2027
The Concerto Competition is open to non-professional musicians between the ages of 14 and 30 as of December 31, 2026. All solo instrumental categories will be considered. Competitors must live or study in the Province of Saskatchewan, or, if studying outside of the province, have competed in a Saskatchewan Music Festival Competition within the preceding five years.

In the first round of competition, entrants will perform one movement of a concerto. The first round of competition will be adjudicated virtually. Entries will be posted to an unlisted playlist on YouTube and final-round performers will be announced via Zoom on February 20, 2027. Attendance at the Zoom meeting is mandatory for all participants.

The final round of competition will be held in-person the week of June 2 to June 6, 2027, at Quance Theatre (University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon). Competitors will perform the complete concerto at this final competition.

This entry form and entry fee ($150) must be received by January 31, 2027. Entry fees are non-refundable. Please supply complete and accurate information.
