We are happy to offer training to participants from other conferences. If you are from a conference other than South Georgia, please tell us your home conference:

What are your current ministry responsibilities and/or interests?

Have you discussed this program with your pastor and/or presiding elder?

Do you have written recommendation by your pastor and endorsement by majority vote of the Pastor-Parish Relations Committee and the charge conference? (¶ 502 of the Book of Doctrine and Disicpline) .

Were you previously a Lay Speaker/Servant or Certified Lay Minister?

Do you consent to a national background check through MinistrySafe? (You will receive an email prompt from MinistrySafe)?

For INITIAL CLM Certification, completion of the following 5 courses is required: Foundations, Bible, Leadership/Discipleship, Preaching + Worship. Five Meals are included in the cost of registration. Travel expenses and lodging are NOT included and are your responsibility to book.

For RECERTIFICATION, you must take one class every three years
