Pool Party Rental Agreement
Please read the following information before booking. By completing your booking, you agree to these terms for yourself and everyone attending your party.
1. Renter’s Responsibility
The person booking the party must:
- Be at least 18 years ol
- Remain at the facility for the entire rental
- Share the pool rules with all guests
- Make sure children are actively supervised by a responsible adult
- Take responsibility for the behaviour of all guests
- Pay for any damage caused by the renter or their guests
- Lifeguards provide water supervision but do not replace a parent or guardian’s responsibility. Lifeguards and pool management have the final say on safety, swimming ability and access to the deep end, slide or diving board.
2. Rental Times
> You may enter the party room at your scheduled start time. Early entry is not guaranteed and is only permitted with staff approval.
> All guests, belongings, food and decorations must be removed by the end of your rental time. Please leave promptly so staff can clean and prepare for the next party.
> Extra time is not guaranteed if your group arrives late.
3. Decorations
> Only painter’s tape may be used to hang decorations.
> Sticky tack, duct tape, nails, staples, confetti, glitter and other materials that may damage the room or create a safety hazard are not permitted.
> All decorations must be removed at end of rental.
4. Food and Drinks
- Food, drinks and glass containers are not permitted on the pool deck.
- Alcohol, smoking, vaping and illegal substances are not permitted anywhere on the property.
- A kitchen is not available.
- Cooking appliances, including hot plates, griddles and camping stoves, are not permitted.
- A crockpot may be used to keep prepared food warm. It must be placed safely and attended by an adult.
- The renter is responsible for food safety and any food allergies within their group.
5. Clean-Up
Before leaving, renters must:
-Remove all food, belongings and decorations
-Place garbage in the provided bins
6. Pool Rules and Safety
All guests must follow posted pool rules and lifeguard instructions.
- Everyone must shower before entering the pool.
- Flotation devices are not permitted in the deep end.
- Children and weak swimmers must remain within arm’s reach of a supervising adult when required by the pool’s supervision ratios.
- Running, rough play and unsafe behaviour are not permitted.
- Proper swimwear must be worn.
- Guests must not enter the water if they have diarrhea, vomiting or another contagious illness.
- Any medical condition that may affect a guest’s safety in the water should be privately shared with the lifeguard before swimming.
- Lifeguards may restrict activities or remove a person from the water for unsafe behaviour. Serious or repeated rule violations may result asking the person to leave.
7. Payment, Cancellations and Closures
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. The remaining $200 is due on or before the day of the party.
If the renter cancels, the deposit will not be refunded.
If Northside Community Pool must cancel because of an emergency closure, unsafe conditions or another issue outside the renter’s control, the party will be rescheduled or payments will be refunded.
8. Personal Property
Northside Community Pool is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings. Please keep valuables with you.
9. Acknowledgement of Risk
Swimming and using pool equipment involve risks, including slips, falls, collisions, physical injury and drowning. The renter understands these risks and agrees to follow all safety rules and lifeguard instructions._
