About this webinar:
Following on from the Functional Anatomy of the Foot webinar, this session explores the functional anatomy of the knee and its important relationship with the foot. We’ll look at the bones, joints, muscles and movements of the knee, with a focus on how the knee functions as part of the lower limb and how movement and mechanics at the foot can influence the knee. The session is designed to provide practical anatomical knowledge that can be applied to assessment and massage therapy practice.
About the presenter

David Ward is a massage therapist and educator with over a decade of clinical experience. In practice since 2013 and teaching since 2015, David's path into education grew organically out of clinical work. A deepening fascination with anatomy and how the body is put together led him towards an increasingly focused role in teaching and knowledge-sharing.
David's approach is grounded in the relationship between structure and function, and in the belief that a confident understanding of anatomy is the foundation of effective practice. His teaching is designed to make anatomy practical, accessible, and directly relevant to real-world assessment and treatment, not just something to memorise, but something to use.
