The WFF26 Women in Focus Industry Circle brings together a small cohort of women and non-binary filmmakers based in British Columbia for a focused mentorship and networking experience during the Whistler Film Festival + Content Summit. The program is designed to create a meaningful opportunity for like-minded filmmakers to connect with one another, meet an experienced industry mentor, and participate in the Festival as part of a curated peer cohort.
Selected participants will take part in a dedicated online meet-and-greet with the program mentor in November, providing an opportunity to introduce themselves, share their creative interests and experiences, and connect with an established industry professional in advance of the Festival.
Participants will also receive a complimentary Industry Pass to the Whistler Film Festival + Content Summit in December, providing access to Festival and industry programming and opportunities to connect with other filmmakers and industry professionals.
The Women in Focus Mentorship is not a traditional training or project-development lab. Rather, it is a short-format mentorship and networking initiative intended to foster connection, community, and visibility among a cohort of emerging and established women and non-binary filmmakers.
**Please note that we do NOT provide feedback to applications that are not accepted into the program.
