In this beginner-friendly class, participants will receive a crash course on how to use their camera works, how to control exposure, and how to compose an image. We’ll break down common photography concepts in an easy-to-understand way and put them into practice. Whether you’re using a DSLR, mirrorless camera, or another digital camera, this class will give you the foundation and confidence to start taking better photos. Participants are expected to bring their own cameras.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of photography, including basic camera functions, exposure, (shutter speed, aperture, ISO), and composition. They will learn how these settings work together and how to make intentional decisions when taking a photograph. By the end of the class, participants will have a solid foundation for continuing to develop their photography skills.
