• 2026-2027 SDGHDA Membership Application Form

  • Your membership is greatly appreciated and provides our little association with much needed support! 

    Membership has its advantages:

    • Our membership year runs from September to August.
    • Membership fee is $35 and helps keep our registration fees affordable.
    • Members DO NOT pay the $12 non-member indoor competition fee at any of our four (4) SDGHDA competitions, held in October, December,  February and April. 
    • Members receive advanced notice of when registration will open!
    • Members may particpate in any SDGHDA workshop or other opportunity at the members rate.
    • From time to time, names of competing members may be entered into prize draws throughout the year.
    • Members are invited to participate in the administration of SDGHDA, receive updates and other corporate information.


    Note: A membership can be purchased any time during the dancing year (full $35 fee, no pro-rating) but to avoid paying the non-member fee a dancer must have a current membership BEFORE completing a competition entry. Memberships expire annually on August 31st.

    Membership does not include discounted entry to any of the summer outdoor Fairs (e.g. Maxville Fair, Williamstown Fair, etc). While SDGHDA administers the highland dancing competition at these events, the Fairs are run by their respective agricultural society and entry fees to the grounds are outside of the jurisdiction of SDGHDA.

    PLEASE NOTE: To complete an application, you will be required to submit a credit card payment using PayPal. You are NOT required to have a PayPal account to complete a registration.
