By signing my name below, I agree to the following terms and conditions regarding
entry and inclusion in Spencer’s Holiday Caravan parade:
- I have all legal and other relevant authority to enter the above individual, individuals, or entity into Spencer’s Holiday Caravan parade.
- I have all legal and other authority to bind all participants in Spencer’s Holiday Caravan parade as part of the entry above, and by signing these terms and conditions, I warrant that all participants with or in the entry above are subject to these terms and conditions.
- I have obtained or will obtain all necessary permissions for any and all participants with or in the entry above.
- The entry above and any and all participants with such entry may be photographed, recorded (by audio, video, or other means) documented, and/or captured digitally while participating in Spencer’s Holiday Caravan parade. Entry into or participation in Spencer’s Holiday Caravan parade grants to Spencer’s Holiday Caravan and/or its employees, contractors, agents, officers, directors, licensees, or other assigns, a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use such photographs, recordings, or other media (digital or otherwise) for any and all lawful purposes relating to Spencer’s Holiday Caravan parade, including marketing, promotional, or revenue-generating purposes.
- The above entry must be decorated in holiday lights or lighting or some other light-included decor. Failure to include lights or lighting may result in removal from Spencer’s Holiday Caravan. Further, the above entry will feature Holiday-themed decor along with the above lights.
- Pyrotechnic displays or the use of open flame is prohibited in Spencer’s Holiday Caravan.
- Candy or other handouts may be handed to spectators by entry participants, however, due to low lighting during the parade, nothing shall be thrown, tossed, or distributed from a float, vehicle, or other parade entry while either moving or capable of being moved.
- The above entry shall not include any participant dressed as Santa Claus. Spencer’s Holiday Caravan has ONE Santa Claus at the end of the parade.
- The above entry and any and all participants will be present in the designated pre-parade line-up location in a timely manner, and I acknowledge failure to do so may result in a delayed presence in Spencer’s Holiday Caravan or outright removal from the parade line-up. In the event of late arrival, Spencer’s Holiday Caravan will attempt to place a late-arriving entry into the parade line-up at an appropriate time, however, such placement is entirely at the discretion of Spencer’s Holiday Caravan.
- For the safety of entry participants and parade spectators, the above entry will maintain safe speed and distancing at all times during pre-parade line-up and during Spencer’s Holiday Caravan. Once in Spencer’s Holiday Caravan, the entry shall continue to the end of the parade route, as indicated by Spencer’s Holiday Caravan.
- The above entry shall indemnify and hold harmless Spencer’s Holiday Caravan for any and all acts, occurrences, and omissions deriving from the entry’s failure to comply with these terms and conditions and any and all instructions provided by parade organizers before, during, and after the parade. The above entry shall also indemnify and hold harmless Spencer’s Holiday Caravan for any and all negligent or intentional acts, occurrences, and omissions committed by the above entry or its
participants.
- By entering Spencer’s Holiday Caravan and submitting this entry form, the undersigned agrees that North Carolina law shall govern any dispute relating to or deriving from inclusion in Spencer’s Holiday Caravan, and such dispute shall be heard in the Rowan County Superior Court, and the undersigned agrees and consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of such court.
