  • Image field 52
  • Common Flame is holding its 30th annual Holiday Market on December 4-5, 2026. We’re excited that you are applying to be a vendor!

This application form has many large changes from years before. Please read these instructions completely before submitting the application.  Please email any questions to holidaymarket@commonflameuu.org.

    • Common Flame members and friends get preference until October 20, but non-members can apply at any time and will be assigned space on a first received/first assigned basis after the final deadline of Nov 10.
    • Like last year, there will no longer be a central financial collection table. You will be responsible for collecting payment from customers. If you are unsure how to do this or need assistance, please let us know.  We will be happy to show you how to set up taking credit cards. Email emily@commonflameuu.org with any questions about payments or if you need some help with it.
    • The Common Flame Holiday Market is a fundraiser for the church. We are keeping the same prices as last year and are asking for you to donate 15% of your sales after the show so we can continue the great work of Common Flame. After the show, please send a check for 15% of your sales to:Common Flame 14350 W 32nd Ave, Golden, CO 80401 or email carol@commonflameuu.org for alternate payment options. Please put "Holiday Market" in the notes of your check.
    • The new prices are:
      • Card table space        $ 25
      • One 6' table space      $ 50
      • Two 6 ' tables spaces  $100
    • This is not a juried show. We accept crafters on a first come, first served basis.  To ensure a variety of options for our customers, we reserve the right to limit the number of booths with similar products.
    • There will be a Holiday Cafe again this year in the chapel with drinks, food, and a place to relax.

Please send questions to Nancy Bolt at (303)642-0338, or holidaymarket@commonflameuu.org

  • Tell us what you plan to sell:

Tell us about the types of items you plan to sell. We want to try to be very diverse in the types of products available. So when you let us know we can make sure we place your table properly and also we can market the types of things we have!! For example: Type #1: Jewelry, Type #2: Scarves, Type #3: Ornaments, and Type #4: Books.

    Application Deadlines
Common Flame members/pledging friends receive preference until October 20, 2025. The deadline for all applications is November 10.  Applications will be accepted until all spaces have been filled, so get your application in early, even if you are not a Common Flame member or pledging friend.

    Table Cost
    Table and space fees are:

    card table space  $25
    6 ft space $50
    12 ft spaces  $100

The fee includes the table(s) or table space, electricity, and chairs—two tables maximum per vendor.

    Crafts
All crafts are acceptable, original, and resale, and we have found reasonably priced items sell well. We particularly encourage new craftspeople to participate.  There is no jury and thus no jury fee. Please note the following restrictions:

    • No sales of food ready to be eaten.  Sealed foods such as jams, spices, and herbs are OK.
    • No sale of flea market or used objects.  All goods sold must be new.
    • No sale of marijuana or marijuana-type products.
    • No playing of music unless through headphones that only the potential buyer can hear.
    • We reserve the right to refuse any craft or craft type.

    Set-up and Tear-down
The Common Flame Holiday Market staff will be at church beginning at 3pm on Thursday, December 3, to show you your assigned table so you can set up.  If you need electricity, you may want to bring an extension cord since some table spaces may be 6 to 8 feet from the outlet.  You will also need to provide a table covering.  All crafters must arrive to set up by 7pm on Thursday, or your table space will be given to a crafter on the waiting list.  If you are arriving after 7pm, please call Nancy Bolt at 303 905 9347 or Chris Sealy at 303 587 3234. You may finalize set-up on Friday morning, but no set-up is allowed on Friday, December 4. Take down of your booth cannot begin until 4 p.m. on Saturday and must be completed by 6 p.m.

    Publicity
The Church will publicize the Holiday Market heavily among church members with articles or a flyer in every church newsletter and listing in the Sunday Service program. A banner will be placed in front of the church. Flyers will be posted in businesses in the Applewood area.

    Table staffing
Since vendors are now taking their own payments you will need to staff your table at all times of the show. If you need a break or assistance there will be volunteers to help but only for breaks and not for long periods of time. Volunteers will not take payments for you, so please set up help for yourself if you need time away from your booth.

    Food
Lunch will be available for purchase on Friday and Saturday. There will be no reception on Friday evening.

    Payment
Payment for all items must be accepted by vendors. The church will no longer be collecting payments exception being the bake sale table. Please request assistance with this if needed.

Donation: Please mail or drop off your 15% donation of your sales no more than 2 weeks after the event. Since JUC is no longer taking payments, we have raised table prices a bit and are asking for you to donate 15% of your sales after the show so we can continue the great work of Common Flame and this show going forward. After the show, please send a check for 15% of your sales to: Common Flame 14350 W 32nd Ave, Golden, CO 80401 or email carol@commonflameuu.org for alternate payment options. Please put "Holiday Market" in the notes of your check.

    Taxes
The church does not collect sales tax.  You are responsible as the crafter to price your product to include any taxes you wish to charge.  If you want to track sales for tax purposes, you may do so independently.

    Security and Liability
Someone will be in the craft sale area at all times the tables are set up except overnight when the church is locked.  In the past, there have been minor theft of craft items.  However, the church cannot accept any liability for any losses.

  • I have read and agree to the Common Flame Holiday Market policies*
  • Marketing

You can help with publicity.  We will send all vendors an electronic flyer to be distributed and postcards you can mail to friends.  If you have a mailing list of customers, send them the craft faire flyer or card or design one of your own.   The flyers and postcards will be sent to you at the beginning of November.  The more you publicize the Holiday Market, the more people come, and the more sales we all have.
  • Additionally, we will send you an electronic version of the post card to send to your friends and customers
