2027 New Year Goreikai / GRN Workshop / Taniai Visit

The 2027 New Year Goreikai and GRN International Master Workshop will be held in Osaka, near Hiroshi Doi Sensei’s home and the historic Osaka Castle.

With this registration form, you can register for all three events: the New Year Goreikai, the GRN International Master Workshop, and, for the first time, a visit to Amataka Shrine in Taniai, Gifu, the birthplace of Mikao Usui Sensei, which will be held as an official New Year event.

The New Year Goreikai is one of the most important New Year events in Gendai Reiki. We hope you will join Doi Sensei and fellow Gendai Reiki practitioners to celebrate the New Year together, reconnect with one another, and take this opportunity to reflect on and deepen your daily Reiki practice.

The GRN Master Workshop is a rare opportunity to meet fellow Gendai Reiki Masters from around the world and learn from one another. We'll explore many valuable topics together. Please don’t miss this special opportunity!

We can only accept registrations from those who already hold a Master certification at the time of registration.

If you are currently at Level 3 and expect to complete the Master course by November, we cannot accept advance registration. We kindly ask for your understanding.

Tuesday, January 19 – Taniai & Amataka Shrine Visit
Maximum capacity: 110 participants
Includes chartered bus, shrine gifts, and lunch — US$130
In case of bad weather, the tour will be changed to Gifu City sightseeing. The fee remains the same.

Participation in Event Banquet / Dinners

Attendance at the New Year Goreikai Banquet is limited to registered Goreikai participants. We kindly ask that guests who are not participating in the Goreikai refrain from attending the banquet.

For the GRN International Master Workshop Dinner, spouses of registered workshop participants may attend upon payment of the applicable dinner fee. We kindly ask that participants refrain from bringing guests other than their spouse. If your spouse will also attend, please indicate this in the remarks section below. Same-day registration is not available.

Cancellation Policy for All Events

Cancellation on or before December 10, 2026: 80% refund
Cancellation from December 11, 2026 through January 8, 2027: 50% refund
Cancellation on or after January 9, 2027: No refund

Additional Information

Doi Sensei is planning to attend the event. However, depending on his health condition at the time, he may need to stay home.

The New Year Goreikai is the most important annual gathering for Gendai Reiki Masters and practitioners. Doi Sensei has maintained this tradition for more than 22 years, and we are honored to continue it.

We sincerely hope that many of you will join us for this special occasion.
