A Few Things to Know Before You Book
🍪 One ticket = one participant.
Every person participating in the class must have their own paid ticket. There are no unpaid observers in the classroom, and tickets, seats and cookie sets cannot be shared between two people. This includes parents, siblings, friends and children who “don’t mind sharing.” I’m not able to make exceptions to this policy.
Sharing a set makes it extremely difficult for me to keep the class together and properly teach the students sitting around you because I’m essentially trying to teach two classes at once. Please don’t put me in the awkward position of having to enforce this rule publicly during class.
If two people arrive with one ticket, you’ll need to choose which person will participate. If you would rather share the experience, no problem — I’ll package your cookies and supplies as a take-home kit so you can decorate them together at home. If I have an extra kit you can purchase an extra ticket before class starts.
⏰ Classes are 1.5 hours.
Want to take extra time? Absolutely! I’ll help you choose which cookies to finish with me and pack the rest of your cookies and supplies so you can finish them at home.
🧒 Classes are for ages 8+. This is not a drop-off activity.
A parent or responsible adult must remain onsite with children under 13 for the entire class. Adults who are not participating are welcome to wait in our lobby during class, but there are no unpaid observers in the classroom.
Children under 13 must have a parent or responsible adult accompany them to the restroom area. The adult is welcome to wait outside the restroom. Please do not send groups of children to the restroom together. No exceptions.
🎟️ Tickets should be purchased in advance.
I prepare your cookies, icing and supplies specifically for the number of students registered, so tickets should be purchased in advance. Occasionally, I may have an extra take-home kit and an open seat available for a last-minute drop-in, so you’re always welcome to ask — but availability is never guaranteed.
👩🍳 Class Minimum
Classes require a minimum of 8 participants. If we’re just a person or two short as the class gets closer, I may reach out and give you a chance to recruit a friend. 🍪
If a class does not reach minimum enrollment and is cancelled, you’ll have the choice of transferring your ticket to another available class or receiving a full refund.
🤧 Please stay home if you’re sick.
I’m happy to package your cookies and supplies as a take-home kit for a healthy friend or family member to pick up. Refunds are not available. Kits will be held for 5 days and then donated. No credits for not picking up your kit.
📅 Plans changed?
Give me more than 36 hours notice and you’ll receive a class credit good for four months. Cancellations within 36 hours and no-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these class policies. ❤️ It may seem long, but each item above has popped up as something that needed to be addressed for everyone [including me] to have fun and have clear expectations.
