I understand that participating in the Texas Wild Hogs Sounder Dance Team Tryouts involves strenuous physical activity, including, but not limited to, dancing, stretching, conditioning, running, jumping, kicking, turning, choreography, tumbling, lifts, stunts, and other related movements.
I understand that participation may involve known and unknown risks, including falls, collisions, muscle strains, sprains, fractures, head injuries, dehydration, illness, permanent injury, disability, or death. I knowingly and voluntarily accept and assume all risks associated with my participation.
I certify that I am physically and medically able to participate safely. I agree to stop participating and immediately notify a Texas Wild Hogs or Sounder Dance Team representative if I experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, weakness, illness, or another concerning symptom.
IN CONSIDERATION FOR BEING ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TEXAS WILD HOGS SOUNDER DANCE TEAM TRYOUTS, I VOLUNTARILY RELEASE, WAIVE, AND HOLD HARMLESS KCQH ENTERPRISE LLC, THE TEXAS WILD HOGS, THE SOUNDER DANCE TEAM, AND THEIR OWNERS, DIRECTORS, DANCE DIRECTORS, CHOREOGRAPHERS, COACHES, STAFF MEMBERS, VOLUNTEERS, CONTRACTORS, SPONSORS, FACILITY OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AND AGENTS FROM ANY CLAIMS, DEMANDS, DAMAGES, MEDICAL EXPENSES, LOSSES, OR LIABILITIES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO MY PARTICIPATION, INCLUDING CLAIMS CAUSED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF A RELEASED PARTY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY TEXAS LAW.
This release does not apply to gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or any liability that cannot legally be released under Texas law.
If I become injured or ill during the tryouts, I authorize event representatives to provide reasonable first aid, contact emergency medical services, and arrange transportation to a medical facility when reasonably necessary. I understand that I am responsible for all medical costs resulting from my participation.
I understand that paying the tryout fee and participating in the tryouts do not guarantee selection, a roster position, compensation, employment, or a contract with the Texas Wild Hogs or Sounder Dance Team.
