Information for Participants

San Antonio's largest Homeowners Association is proud to sponsor its 16th annual car show. Shine up those tires, wax up that car, and display it at the GNW Car Show. We will have food and beverage vendors on hand as well as entertainment. This is a good opportunity to show off your ride and enjoy good, clean family fun. Please review the Rules & Regulations. We will accept your registration up to date of the event, but early registration ensures your place so don't put it off! Rules, Regulations & Judging Criteria

Insurance: A certificate of Insurance is required: exhibitors should have a rider on their insurance policies covering the travel to and from the show Exhibitors should be aware that GNW is not responsible for any losses incurred as a result of exhibiting at the show. or for any loss incurred via travel to or from the show.

Damage to Facilities: Please note exhibitors will be charged for all grounds damage caused by an exhibitor. The exhibitor will pay for such damages immediately upon receipt of the invoice. Staffing of Exhibit: The exhibitor is responsible for having his/her exhibit space or booth always staffed. We suggest your staff be present at your exhibit area during move-in and out.

Parking: Entry vehicles are allowed to park on GNW property during the show hours.

Security: GNW assumes no responsibility for the exhibitor's property. Exhibitors are required to have Insurance for any loss that may occur during the GNW Car Show. GNW Security will patrol during and after the show.

JUDGING INFORMATION:

1. Place a window card on the dash. If the car is not to be judged, write "DO NOT JUDGE" on your window card.
2. Judging will be from 9 am - 12 noon.
3. Judges will open doors but not hoods. No points are given for engine compartments if the hood is down.
4. Do not ask judges questions during or after judging.
5. No cleaning of cars will be allowed during judging.
6. Judging sheets are the property of the judging committee and will not be given to participants. The decisions of the judges are final.
7. Judges will select "Best" for each class
8. Stock: No major changes from the factory other than wheels, air intake, or exhaust.
9. Modified: Chrome, interior/exterior changes, modified engines, etc.
10. On the day of the show, new entries are accepted until 9:45 AM if spots are available. No vehicles entering after 10:00 AM will be judged.

JUDGING CRITERIA:

• PAINT: Condition, Quality & Detail
• ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Neatness, Cleanliness, Workmanship. Includes engine block, inner fenders, firewall, radiator, hoses, exhaust manifolds, wiring, chrome, the hood's underside, and no visible leaks.
• EXTERIOR BODY: Cleanliness, Body Panel Fit, Chrome -1#. Glass, Wheels, and Tires. Includes tops, door handles, and bumpers, outside mirrors, tailpipes, and wheel wells.
• INTERIOR: Cleanliness, Fit and Finish, Weather Stripping/Rubber. Includes dash, console, steering column, luggage area, upholstery, visors, door panels, door jams, carpet, gloss, and seat belts.
• TIRES /WHEELS/HUBCAPS: Cleanliness & Details
