Middle and high school band students preparing for Alabama All-State Band auditions are invited to attend the Huntsville Concert Band’s Alabama All-State Band Boot Camp, to be held on Saturday morning, August 29, 2026, in the Morrison Fine Arts Building of Alabama A&M University, Councill Boulevard, Huntsville 35811.

The Boot Camp will include two sessions:
Middle School (grades 5-8) - 8:30-10:00 AM
High School (grades 9-12) - 10:15 AM-12:00 PM

Students will receive instruction on scales, etudes, and memorization techniques from performing musicians with years of experience teaching and preparing students for All-State auditions.

To register your student, please fill out this form completely and pay the $10.00 registration fee by August 23, 2026. Please do not omit any items - if a question does not apply to your student, write NA in the provided space. Please submit one form per student registering for the Boot Camp.

During the last week of August (August 24-28), you will receive an email with additional information about Boot Camp procedures.

4. Agreement, Release, and Waiver
Student Conduct Agreement
- It is the expectation of the Huntsville Concert Band and Alabama A&M University that all students participating in the Boot Camp will conduct themselves appropriately during their session.
- Participants are expected to respect each other and Boot Camp staff at all times and treat facilities and equipment with care.
- Any participant who is observed behaving inappropriately, to include disrupting the session, defacing property, or using unauthorized drugs or tobacco products (including vaping), will be asked to leave the session. In such cases, there will be no refund of fees.

Publicity Release
Group photos and videos of Boot Camp activities may be used by the Huntsville Concert Band and/or Alabama A&M University for grant-writing and publicity purposes, on websites or social media platforms or in printed materials. Participant names will not be published.

All-State Band Boot Camp Liability Waiver
In consideration of my student's participation in this Huntsville Concert Band-sponsored event, I acknowledge and agree to the following for my student:

1. I accept and assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with COVID-19 and other transmittable viruses or diseases, and I assume full responsibility for the participating student and myself.

2. I agree to waive, release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Huntsville Concert Band, its music director, officers, members, donors, and clinicians, and Alabama A&M University, for any injury or illness.

3. I release the Huntsville Concert Band and Alabama A&M University of any liability and acknowledge through my signature below that I understand the terms and risks of participating in the Alabama All-State Band Boot Camp and hereby freely and voluntarily sign this agreement.
I have read and understood, and agree to, the Boot Camp Liability Waiver.
I confirm my responses to the Student Conduct Agreement, Publicity Release, and Liability Waiver and give permission for my student to participate in the Alabama All-State Band Boot Camp.
