    **Applications can not be submitted until payment is rendered**

    Pageant Date: November 14, 2026 (Tentative times may vary depending on the contestant's participantion)

    Pageant Time: 4:00 p.m. 

    Pageant Location: Robeson Community College Auditorium, Lumberton NC

    Cost: $20 for the Public

    Kids 3 and under are FREE (child must be able to sit in lap of parent)

  • Age Groups (determined as of the day of the pageant):

    Tiny Miss: 4-6 years old

    Little Miss: 7-11 years old

    Junior Miss: 12-14 years old

    Teen Miss: 15-18 years old

    Miss: 19-26 years old

    Ms./Mrs.: 27-54 years

    Senior Miss: 55+ years

    Mr. 18-50 years

    **These titles will be awarded to the contestants with the highest scores in their divisions. 

    **This is a CLOSED TITLE**

    Contestant must reside in North Carolina and have Tribal Enrollment within a North Carolina Indigenous Tribe! We are not allowed to print any applications, you must fill it out online! There will be no late entries! 

    Title Holders will be required to attend a Contract Signing/ Dinner November 15, 2026 @ 5:00pm

  • AWARDS and REQUIREMENTS

    Age division winners: Full Round Diamond Crown, Metal Traditional Crown (will be passed down to the next year's winners), Monogrammed Sash, trophy, and flowers. Mr. Winner will recieve a bolo, trophy and sash.

    Talent flash drives and score sheets will be available for pick up at the end of the pageant. 

  • Competition Guidelines

    Opening Number: Contestants will wear a black top with native jewlery, and any choice of ribbon skirt.

    Mr. contestants will wear a white top, with jeans and native accessories. 

    Interview: Will be based in cultural knowledge, application information, or general questions to gain more knowledge about the contestant. 

    Little/Junior Miss- 3 minutes long

    Teen/Miss/Mrs/Senior/Mr- 7 minutes long

    Beauty: Tiny Miss Only: Short pageant dress, white shoes, no tights. Socks only allowed.

    Little Miss: Can do a short pageant dress or a long pageant dress.

    Junior, Teen, Miss, Mrs. and Senior Miss: Long pageant gown. 

    (ALL DIVISIONS: No flippers, no faux hair, lashes only for Teen/Miss/Mrs./Senior)

    Black/White Attire for Mr.: Mister contestants can wear any color tuxedo and/or suit with tie. 

    Regailia: Any style of regailia of contestants choice that represents them and their culture. 

    Talent: Music can be sent via email (missindigenousnc@gmail.com) or by flash drive, no tapes, no additional songs on the flash drive other than talent selection. Talent may not exceed 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Label flash drive or email subject with Contestant # and name. Must be age appropriate! Note- Always have a backup flash drive with you in case of emergency. (Props are allowed and must be approved by Ricky Lee Bullard 14 days prior to the pageant date.)

    **Everyone has talent! You are not limited to singing or dancing. Talent can include monologue, painting, cultural presentation, etc. Be creative express who you are!**

    People's Choice: Every contestant will be entered into the people's choice for a chance to win an award. Votes will be $2, whoever has the highest votes will win a crown and sash. 

     

     

  • Mandatory Meeting

    There will be a mandatory meeting for all contestants on 9/20/2026 for headshots and questions. Please wear tan tops and native jewlery.

    **I understand that all fees are non-refundable, and I agree to abide by all pageant rules. I further agree not to spread hate or negative energy or comments to the Directors, queens or their families. Miss Indigenous or its staff are not responsible for any injuries, losses, damages, thefts, or accidents, which may occur, at any event, or while traveling to or from any event. I understand that the judge's decisions are final. Any act of bad sportsmanship from contestants or family members will NOT be tolerated and will result in disqualification without a refund. All payments are nonrefundable. By signing this form, I also release use of any pictures taken at the pageant to be used for advertising purposes. Miss Indigenous and their appointed representatives reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone. This event is non-refundable.
