The Backpack Program helps provide weekend meals to students who may not have enough food at home when school is not in session. Each week, participating students receive a discreet backpack or bag filled with easy-to-prepare, kid-friendly, nonperishable food items to help ensure they have nutritious meals over the weekend. The program will take donations as well which is at the bottom of this form.
Most Needed Items:
Individual macaroni & cheese cups
Instant oatmeal packets
Cereal cups or individual cereal boxes
Granola or protein bars
Peanut butter or sunflower butter cups (where permitted)
Jelly squeeze packets
Individual applesauce or fruit cups
Pudding cups
Crackers or peanut butter crackers
Microwaveable soup or pasta cups
Shelf-stable milk boxes
Tuna or chicken packets
Easy Mac or ramen cups

Healthy snack packs
How You Can Help:
Donations of nonperishable, individually packaged food items are always appreciated. Financial donations are also welcome, as they allow organizers to purchase items in bulk and fill any gaps in weekly distributions.
Every donation helps ensure that local children have access to food over the weekend, allowing them to return to school on Monday ready to learn. Thank you for supporting the Backpack Program and the students in our community.
