Ethics in the Digital Age: AI, Technology, and Clinical Documentation

With the rise of artificial intelligence, therapists need to consider the ethical implications on our field. We also need to assure that we are practicing competently. This training is designed for clinicians of all levels, whether you are a new practitioner or supervising practitioners. We will have the chance to reflect and discuss the impact of recent changes on documentation considerations. This will be live and interactive via discussion on zoom but there is an option to register to receive a private link to a recording.

Jamille Edwards, PhD, LCPC is a clinical supervisor at IIPC and operates her own practice in Texas. She has a Ph.D. in Counseling Education and Supervision, with research focusing on African-based practices, counseling, and the intersection of cultural identity and sexuality. She has worked in diverse settings, including inpatient and outpatient programs, private practice, community-based care, medication-assisted treatment programs, and campus counseling centers. When not providing therapy or supervising, she also teaches counseling students.

Attendees who engage in this training will receive an evaluation, which will generate their CE certificate. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 8/15/25-8/15/26. Social workers completing this course receive 2 Ethics continuing education credits. Course material is at an intermediate level for social workers.
