About the 2027 NDPC Conference
In celebration of 20 years of the National Deaf People of Color (2007–2027), the 2027 NDPC Conference will be held on July 2–3, 2027, at American University in Washington, DC.
Under the theme “Recharge the Flame, Carry the Torch Forward,” the conference will bring together Deaf, DeafBlind, and hard-of-hearing people of color for learning, leadership development, networking, cultural celebration, and shared perspectives.
The conference will feature the NDPC Showcase: A Series of Short Presentations, Shared Perspectives, and Moderated Q&A. Attendance will be limited to 250 in-person participants, with virtual access available for up to 1,000 participants.
Registration Rates
Early-Bird Registration — through January 31, 2027
General In-Person: $110
General Virtual: $80
Student In-Person: $75
Student Virtual: $50
Regular Registration — beginning February 1, 2027
General In-Person: $200
General Virtual: $90
Student In-Person: $125
Student Virtual: $65
In-person attendance is limited to 250 participants, so early registration is strongly encouraged to secure your space.
Student Registration Eligibility: Student rates are available to currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate, community college, or vocational/technical students. A valid student ID or proof of current enrollment may be required. Discounted in-person student registration may be limited based on availability.
This early-bird registration reserves your place. Once the Whova conference platform is active, you will receive instructions to complete your attendee profile and provide additional information. You will not be required to register or pay again.
