Training for Assistants (Infant & Toddler, Early Childhood, Elementary)

Topics covered will include the following:
Who was Maria Montessori?
What are the Planes of Development and Human Needs and Tendencies?
What do we need to do to prepare ourselves and the environment?
How can we build partnerships with the children and our team members?

Details about the day:
All levels are welcome (I&T, EC, EL).
9:00-noon - Overview for Assistants (Lead teachers are welcome).
1:00-4:00 - Assistant’s classroom role; Lead teachers strongly encouraged to attend.
Creating a classroom partnership that supports the children.

Cost: $140 per assistant (Lead teachers are FREE if they attend with their assistant)

PD hours: 6 hours for Assistants, 3 hours for Lead Teachers (afternoon only),
6 hours for Lead Teachers who attend for the whole day
(Administrators are welcome to attend)
